Rowan won Creative Hair Extensions Specialist of the Year 2019!

Rowan, owner and founder of Row 66 took home @hairdressersjournal Creative Hair Extensions Specialist of the year 2019!

In Rowan’s words on Instagram:

I’m absolutely delighted. I couldn’t believe it when @victoriaremicachet announced my name. I really did not expect to win an award - especially after seeing some of the other finalists beautiful entries.

I have been overwhelmed by all of the lovely messages from friends, family, clients and other local salon owners in Edinburgh. Thank you so much for your support. Special thanks to my bf @paaullyt ,to @vicky_andrew26 @iona_xanthe, and to my colleague @becks_6x for your encouragement throughout.

So much work went into this and I couldn’t have done it without my fantastic model @jordanlivingst0ne who was so patient throughout the process and committed hours and hours of her time to this. Thanks also to @michmoshmakeup who gave me some makeup tips and gifted me some foils and lashes to use on the day.
This really is a fantastic competition which takes into account all aspects of hair extensions application and culminates with a live, timed competition at @salon_int @excellondon where the 10 finalists are assessed in more detail with judges closely inspecting their work. There were more applicants than ever this year and it was an honour to even be selected as one of 10 finalists.
